DSCNDNTS OF MYTHS
This project is my way of exploring mythologies from around the world.
So many more gods and goddesses are waiting to be unleashed, and I'm stoked to keep creating and sharing them with you.
It's actually my first personal project where I'm really pushing myself to focus on character studies. I explore a wide range of traits, hairstyles, eyes, expressions, colors, and even distinct markings.
Each character is a new opportunity to experiment and grow as an artist. I find it incredibly rewarding to see how these diverse elements combine to create unique, divine personalities.
I'm excited to share my latest character design project with you. I call it Dscndnts of Myths and it's all about reimagining gods from different cultures as modern-day characters. The cool twist? We're all descendants of them!
I started by challenging myself with male characters (not gonna lie, drawing guys has always been tricky for me). But don't worry, the goddesses are coming soon, and I can't wait to show you what I've got planned for them.
What's really exciting is how this project is expanding my artistic horizons. I'm not just drawing characters; I'm building a whole pantheon of modern gods.
It's forcing me to think about how ancient deities might adapt to our world today.
How would their powers manifest? What would they wear? How would their personalities evolve?
These questions keep me inspired and eager to tackle each new design. Plus, the research into different cultures and their myths is honestly addictive – I'm learning so much, and it's all feeding back into my art in ways I never expected.
Thousands of years ago, the ancient Gods walked among us. Their powers were unmatched, and their presence left the world trembling.
But as time passed, the Gods and Goddesses withdrew from the Earth, leaving mortals behind. However, legend has it that the Gods had offspring with humans, beings with unimaginable abilities and powers.
These Descendants have remained hidden, out of sight from the world, but now, an epic event is about to unleash their liberation.
The Descendants of the ancient Gods are about to be revealed to the world, and the Earth will never be the same.
